Friday bible club @Manor Road Evangelical Church Church

Are you looking for something fun for your children to do on a Friday evening from 5.45pm until 6.45pm?  Then look no further than Friday Bible Club!

 The Club is for children aged from 5 to 11 years and is run by a small, friendly team of adults.  The focus is on the children having fun whilst also learning from the Bible.

The evening commences with games, craft or singing.  Craft is always a favourite, as the children love to have something to take home with them.  Then, after a drink and a biscuit, it's straight into learning the memory verse.  Most children enjoy this challenge and are rewarded for their efforts with points.  The children then listen to a Bible story followed by a quiz (another opportunity to earn points!).  At 6.45pm it's time to go home. Phew!!

At the end of every half-term the children can 'spend' the points which they have accumulated for attendance, singing, good behaviour, answering questions, etc, etc in the Club's 'shop'.  Deciding whether to treat themselves to one 'big' prize or lots of 'smaller' prizes is definitely one of the highlights of Friday Bible Club for most of them.
